I want to buy a laptop and what brand to choose?
The brands that offer phones and service quality (for affordable) that we recommend especially at this time are Asustek, MSI and Toshiba. Brands Samsung and Sony are also interesting for their quality (and design) in the upscale and ultra-portable.
The consumer brands such as HP, Fujitsu-Siemens and Dell especially in the entry level are generally very good products at very competitive prices. Dell ACS! Ement must for top models and performance in games.
We recommend less Packard Bell brands, Acer and Lenovo are very aggressive on price, but often at the expense of quality (on machines at low prices): rarely of the components which are the same for all laptops (Intel, AMD NVIDIA …) but at the quality of the plastics, hinges, power supplies, finishing or the VAS (there are no secrets to offer rates as low …).

Some very cheap models of Lenovo or Acer, however, can be adapted for some uses (internet or office) for a reduced budget. There is also the manufacturer Alienware (now a subsidiary of Dell) that offers high performance machines and high-end prices finally reasonable enough in view of performance (a must for demanding gamers).
We often receive letters asking us to buy the best shopping on the Internet. We do not pretend to know them all but we recommend the four major online shops following: LDLC.com, Materiel.net, Grosbill Rueducommerce and their prices, their professionalism and the quality of their services (with a preference for the first two mentioned). The Dell laptops are almost the only available on the manufacturer’s site is available by clicking this link. Also check out our compare prices of laptops that references the most serious traders anywhere and compares the features of several models in a few mouse clicks.

Shopping on the Internet can often realize substantial savings and payment management / transport is now well settled, the potential problem of buying on the net is rather if returned SAV or delays can be little longer (because of travel time for the return).
There is no need to fear with the sites seriously as materiel.net or LDLC. If you do not want to buy on Internet, we would advise that you make your purchase at a specialty store such FNAC or Darty (their websites are also very good, with the advantage of being able to move in a store for the VAS). Avoid generally large stores often offer models at prices means very variable and often (very) little benefit.
Stores (online or offline) may also offer extended warranties (from 2 to 4 years) in the case of a laptop is not a bad idea because a laptop is still fragile and the risk of failure remains especially important at the screen (some manufacturers offer warranties glass breakage free as Toshiba).Dell offers a warranty extension to 3 years for a relatively fair and the quality of the VAS is more recognized, Asus, MSI and Sony often offer a 2 year standard warranty on their laptops, an excellent thing that can tip the balance for these manufacturers.
