Used Toshiba Satellite Laptop

May 20th, 2010

The refurbished market is almost as big as the new item market. When you search for a laptop you can’t ignore all the refurbished offers. Refurbished laptops are in fact used laptops that have been repaired, even made look as new and resold. When choosing a used laptop you go for it because of the price tag. Just buying a used item may save you more than 20% of the money you would have spent on the same object, but new.

On the refurbished market you can find most of the items you see in stores, but even some models that have been produced in the past and they are no longer produced or sold as new. This is a great market for replacement parts, too. If your laptop is an older model, you have better chances to find a refurbished replacement part than a new one.

There are two ways you can buy a used laptop: you can buy a refurbished one from an electronics store or you can search the ads of people selling their used laptops.

When you search for a refurbished Toshiba laptop you might be in luck because there are many returned laptops after a week or two of usage. You can see that if you have a trained eye, but you can also guess from the price tag. Usually, these kinds of refurbished laptops have a smaller discount than the others. The main advantage of looking for refurbished laptops is the variety of models and price tags.

used-toshiba-satellite-laptop

So, you can find everything from the Toshiba 1100 notebook to the Toshiba Satellite T135D-S1320 with red casing. When buying a refurbished laptop you need to look over the warranty contract. Most stores offer you 3 months warranty, but you can get even 6 months warranty. Stores try to overcome the competition by adding different stuff to their offer. So, you can get in the package a free mouse, or a spare battery and so on; the idea is to search for the right offer for you.
used-toshiba-satellite-laptop-2

The other way to buy a used Toshiba satellite laptop is by searching through your friends or on forums. The best thing about this way is that you are able to bargain with the seller face to face. It’s a more flexible method; it allows you to test the product and see if it’s right for you, or even give it a try for few days. Another advantage is that you can get lower prices than in store; when getting a refurbished Toshiba satellite from stores, you can save about 20% from the original price; when you get it from some one, you can save more than that, sometimes more than 50%, depending on the status of the seller.

used-toshiba-satellite-laptop-3

You also might get a list of problems the seller used to have when using that particular product; thing that you will not get in stores. The main disadvantage is the warranty. When buying a refurbished laptop from the store, you get 3 months warranty- when you buy it from a person, you don’t get warranty except when the product is still in warranty from the original buy.

Either way, you get to save some money just by buying a used Toshiba satellite. The used laptop market usually has a wider range of products and cheaper ones. Anybody can buy a used laptop, because prices begin at 100 dollars, so any pocket can afford one.

Purple Toshiba Laptops

May 20th, 2010

In the computer business there is a tight competition. Laptop manufacturers use polls to find the things that can make them stand out. This applies to Toshiba as well. Their laptops compete with all the other brands, and there is not much difference between them and the competition. So, desperate measures are needed in desperate times.

Toshiba, as well as other brands released some laptops that have purple casing. It’s a fashion statement that reaches out to those who want to be noticed. The “purple-ness” has no practical use, but it’s pretty. The purple Toshiba laptop goes with many accessories that are as useless as the purple casing. There are tones of covers for you mouse, fluffy ones, colored ones that are many times more than useless, they are frustrating. But what don’t women do for fashion? You can find some stickers for your laptop that will cover some parts of the laptop. Many times I have seen people who stick those things on the casing, but they do such a good job that they cover up the grill through which the laptop was supposed to eliminate the hot air. Those computers became “fashion victims” in the literally way.

purple-toshiba-laptops

The purple Toshiba laptops may give you the spot light when you enter a room, but the laptop is not all you can use to stand out. You can go for a pink laptop case, or even a purple one. A purple laptop case will go with the purple laptop perfectly, but it’s harder to find. When searching for a laptop case, be careful, because some laptop cases are produced by unauthorized manufacturers and not all safety features are present.

Most purple laptops are refurbished ones. The M100 had a series that was produced with a purple casing, but it’s unlikely you will find a new one. The purple Toshiba M100 has the standard components; the only major difference is the casing.

These items were released for the female target of Toshiba. Actually, Toshiba isn’t the only manufacturer that released laptops with different colored casings. All brands have made at least one model with pink or purple casings.

purple-toshiba-laptops-2

There are some alternatives through which you can make your laptop purple or pink. Searching really well over the internet you might find replacing casings for your laptop. These items are not fabricated by the official manufacturers, but by factories in China or India that copy the model and produce it illegal. It’s not often that you find these kinds of merchandise, but keep searching. The fact is that you will find these cheaper than usual casings and of poor quality. Actually, you will find these of very poor quality: if there is the brand logo, it will certainly fall off, the paint will lose its color fast, it will crack very easily, etc. In fact, if you replace the original casing with a rip-off you will do more damage than you may possibly think.

purple-toshiba-laptops-3

Finding a Toshiba laptop with purple casing may be a fashion statement and it may appear pretty, but you will get just an accessory with no more value than a standard model. Making your laptop special doesn’t make you special and most certainly does not make your work special. It’s just another thing that you can live without, but if you want it, try finding one that doesn’t affect your tech needs in any way.

How To Unlock The Mouse For For Toshiba Laptop

May 20th, 2010

Any laptop can do things “on its own”. You might have been in the situation where your laptop clicks on its own, or an application starts without you touching your computer, or the mouse cursor moves around without any touch from you. This kind of things happen because of the touchpad overheats and has a grown sensitivity. You don’t even have to touch the pad for it to “go wild”. The opposite can also happen. The laptop may lock the screen or the mouse or the touch pad.

Many have reported problems with the Toshiba mouse or touch pad locking, and they had no idea how to manage the situation. The first thing you should do is verify if the touch pad is not blocked by the Fn functions. Press Fn+F9 and see what happens. If it’s still not working, verify if the Fn functions are enabled, then try again. If this doesn’t work, try something else.

It might be a problem with the device drivers. Get the CD drivers provided by the Toshiba package and reinstall them. The drivers for mouse and touch pad should work together. These kinds of errors happen all the time, so you should find out if this is what affects your Toshiba laptop.

One of the things you should do to unlock the mouse and touch pad on your Toshiba laptop is a power cycle of your computer. Unplug the AC, remove the battery, then plug the AC back in and power up the laptop. If it works, turn the laptop back off, reinstall the battery and power it back on.

how-to-unlock-the-mouse-for-for-toshiba-laptop

In the Start menu, go to RUN>type devmgmt.msc. You will enter the Devise Manager. Here, you should click on the plus sign next to the “Mice and other pointing devices” icon; right click on each devise listed and uninstall all Mouse and pointer devises. Be very careful to uninstall just these devices, and not all of the devices listed in the Devise Manager. Now, go to the Toshiba support web site. There, you will have to click on the Download icon. You will find a filter for your laptop type (product, family and model). After you select your laptop, click Go, so you will go to the next filter. Select your operating system, then drop the list Filter by Category and select Touchpad and click on the button “Apply Filters”. This will provide you a list of two drivers.

Download them into a handy folder or on your desktop (where you think you will find them easier), unzip them and install them. It’s not hard and it should do the trick because the problem may be with the drivers you have installed (or reinstalled in the previous steps). To take effect, you have to restart the laptop. Then you just need to try the Fn key in combination with the F9 key.

how-to-unlock-the-mouse-for-for-toshiba-laptop-2

This should unlock the mouse and touch pad on your Toshiba laptop and we hope it will. If these steps don’t work for you, search the web for other solutions and maybe you will get some, but this is the standard solution.

Toshiba Tablet Laptops

May 20th, 2010

The tablet is a fully functional laptop that features a stylus and a touch screen. It was intended for better PC mobility. Toshiba is one of the largest laptop manufacturers on the market, so they couldn’t miss the chance to release a tablet series of their own. This is where Toshiba Portage comes on in.

Toshiba released the set of tablet laptops with the intention of replacing standard laptops. The main advantage of the Portage series is the increased mobility of the tablets. We will make a small review for some of the tablets in the Portage family so you can get an idea about the Toshiba tablet department.

Toshiba Portege M780 106 is one of the best examples of Toshiba tablets. The highlights of this model are the 2.13GHz CPU Intel Core I3-330M processor (CPU), the Intel GMA Series Video Chipset and the 250 GB hard drive. When you combine these features you will get a very good machine. The 250 GB hard drive assures you with enough storage space for all your media files, your photos and your personal documents.

The 2.13GHz CPU Intel Core I3-330M CPU brings to you the innovative 64-bit x86-64 processors using the Intel Nehalem micro architecture, providing the speed for running any application with maximum efficiency. The m780 106 also comes with built in wireless networking and Bluetooth connectivity, so you can connect your tablet anywhere you go. All your work can be seen on the bright 12.1 inch Display with a 1280 x 800, WXGA resolution. This is one of the cheapest Portage models.

toshiba-tablet-laptops

The feature packed Toshiba Portege M750 12F is mostly the same with the other products from the Toshiba tablet family. Actually, on the outside they all look approximately the same. The differences between them are pure performance differences. They all feature the DVD Supermulti device, built in wireless and Bluetooth connectivity, the Intel GMA Series Video Chipset and the 12.1 inch Display with a 1280 x 800, WXGA resolution. The differences contain the CPU capacity, hard drive storage space and price tag.
toshiba-tablet-laptops-2

Toshiba Portage M750 12F has a 160 GB HDD and a 2.5GHz CPU Intel Core 2 Duo processor; the price is slightly higher. The M750 116 has a 2.5GHz CPU Intel Core 2 Duo processor and a 160GB HDD, just like it’s brother, the M750 12F. The M750 12G comes with the slightly faster 2.53GHz CPU Intel Core 2 Duo processor and the 250GB hard drive. The prices of these items differ by little, so it’s a matter of what you like more. All these tablets come with Windows 7, but you can still find them with Vista.
toshiba-tablet-laptops-3

Somehow, tablets are the subject of a controversy. The question is if tablets are worth the money you spend. The fact is that tablets are twice, if not three or four times the price of a normal Toshiba laptop. There is a set of pros and cons for tablets. In the pro tablet side we will find that it’s easier to use the tablet in environments not conducive to a keyboard and mouse such as lying in bed, standing, or handling with a single hand, they have lighter weight, Touch environment makes navigation much easier than conventional use of keyboard and mouse or touch pad and recording non-character information such as diagrams, mathematical notations, and symbols.

On the con side you will find higher costs, input speed, screen and hinge damage risk (higher mobility means higher risks of damage), ergonomics and slower processing.
All in all, you should give Toshiba tablets the chance to prove themselves

Toshiba Laptop Flickers Different Colors

May 19th, 2010

As most of you know, Toshiba is the largest Japanese multinational company which is specialized in electronic devices and components. Their laptops are well known around the world and in 2009, Toshiba was  classified on rank 5 on the largest computer vendors’ list. However, after buying their products, many customers complained about the quality of the items. Contrary to the promises one finds on the official site of the Toshiba laptops (“our Satellite laptops offer a choice of dazzling but durable designs…”), on different forums, people criticize some aspects of these products.

One of the problems seems to be the colors showed on the  LCD display. Some complained about their Toshiba laptop flickering different colors, others about some vertical green lines or a lot of red  on their screens .This problem seems to have no obvious reason: some suspected power or memory problems, viruses, internal thermal issues, others thought the laptop might have been dropped or could have suffered a shock or a sudden movement  – they all assumed the problem they were confronted with had various causes.  But, as some of them have experienced the same symptom  after using the laptop for a while, some right after they turned it on  and other people got familiar to this issue right after they got their laptop out of the box and turned it on, it seems to be a fabrication problem.

toshiba-laptop-flickers-different-colors

In order to make their screens look normal, people tried different solutions out of which some worked in several cases. Among these resolutions, they suggested: updating the driver, leaning the screen down towards the keyboard, running the Disk Defragmenter, removing the Nvidia drivers from the computer devices  or using the default Nvidia drivers to change the drivers colors from 32 bits to 16 bits. Each of these solutions mentioned above worked in a particular case, even though they dealt with the same problem: the Toshiba laptop flickered different colors.

However, one is free to give these solutions a try if their laptop is no longer in the warranty period. But, if the warranty period is not over yet, you ought to solve this issue with the company itself, as they guarantee repair or replacement of their product if that product does not work as warranted. The company is usually forced either to restore the laptop to working order or to give the customer another product that is in any case comparable to the original item

Anyhow, considering all the complaints and criticism regarding the colors showed on the LCD display on the Internet, Toshiba should probably find and solve the problem before selling more such products, because the warrant forces them to first locate and then resolve the problem anyhow.

toshiba-laptop-flickers-different-colors-2

In spite of all these, Toshiba laptops are, as I mentioned before, “best -sellers”  in  the computer industry. This proves that such cases when different problems occur are not taken into account by the buyers, even though they should be significant for the company.

Toshiba Laptop With Harmon Kardon Speaker

May 19th, 2010

One of the features Toshiba bragged about is the Harman Kandor speakers. Herman Kendor is a dedicated manufacturer of audio systems. They provide the market with everything from speakers to home entertainment audio systems. When you get to think about it, it’s a nice feature, but nothing out of the usual. Many laptop brands equip their products with hardware provided by this audio manufacturer. Some of the Toshiba laptops equipped with Herman Kendor speakers include the M55, the M200, the A300 and many more.

The bad news is that many owners of Toshiba laptops with Herman Kandor Speakers have reported problems with these particular items. There have been many users that had a problem with low speaker volume. Some of these reports were posted because they were using Windows 7 and they didn’t know how to use it, yet. The fist thing to say is to get used with the new format of Windows 7. It’s a great piece and it would be a shame to not know how o use it, at least for basic usage. The next thing is to try to give advice. Go to Control Panel, under “Uninstall Applications”.

Click on Dolby application and choose “Modify”, not “Uninstall”. Disable this feature and then go into the Toshiba folder under programs and tweak your sound profile until you get the result you want. The equalizer can make your sound louder if you know how to use it. Be careful, if it gets too loud, your speakers will tend to vibrate a bit too much. Also it would be a good idea to use VLC player due to its volume going to 200%! You can also open “SOUND” from the Control Panel, on the “Playback” tab double click “Speakers”. This will bring up the “Speaker Properties” box.

toshiba-laptop-with-harmon-kardon-speaker

Go to the enhancements Tab. “Loudness Equalization” made can be a very powerful tool.

The next set of problems we collected from users of Toshiba laptops with Herman Kandor Speakers were hardware issues. Beside the common problems with speakers, there is not much to say. These speakers tend to vibrate when you get the volume over 80%, but this is just natural. The best quality of sound is at 50-60 % volume. When you go over 80% you will most likely get a very noisy and unclear playback.

toshiba-laptop-with-harmon-kardon-speaker-3

Even if the Herman Kandor system is better than most loud speaker systems, you can’t expect much from laptop speakers. If you really want quality sound, get external speakers or an audio system. The market is full of such equipment; Herman Kandor is just one example. You will find the right combination for you. For home usage, a Home Entertainment System would be perfect. You can’t expect laptop speakers to provide quality when you want to watch movies or listen to music very loud. Laptop speakers are small so they can fit into the casing, you won’t get a good sub-woofer sound and so on.
toshiba-laptop-with-harmon-kardon-speaker-2

Even if Toshiba laptops with Harman Kandon speakers give you better sound than other laptops, you can’t depend on them if you want to watch movies or listen to music very loud. For these purposes, get a real audio system that can provide the quality and power you desire.

Toshiba Laptop Repair Parts

May 19th, 2010

Toshiba is one of the leading brands in the laptop industry. Toshiba is known as one of the most innovative manufacturers not only in IT business, but in all fields; X-ray tubes, radio transmission tubes, you name it and they will provide it. In the laptop department, Toshiba is one of the low cost brands. Don’t get fooled by the price tag, because they provide very reliable machines. But, like all things, Toshiba laptops do brake. You just need to know how to manage this situation.

For the trained eye, computer problems are not hard to diagnose. So, you will need to figure out the problem. You can find out if your hard drive or your RAM memory units are shot just by looking at the POST screen, or entering BIOS. When it comes to the motherboard, it’s harder to know what exactly is wrong. Searching the web for ways to diagnose your laptop will prove itself a powerful tool.

Once you have diagnosed your problem, it’s time to find replacement parts. The best way to do it is searching the web; you don’t have to get up from your chair and you see all you need just by typing into a search engine “Toshiba laptop repair parts”. You will get info from hundreds of online stores with every laptop part you can possibly need. Most prices are very similar, if not identical. Choosing the right store for you depends on the shipping info, price tags and trust. Find a store where a friend of yours shopped before because there are some online stores that you shouldn’t trust. There are online stores that give you assistance, or even their own repair service.

toshiba-laptop-repair-parts

The question is whether you should get a new Toshiba laptop repair part, or a refurbished one. You see, many refurbished laptop parts came from broken laptops, and even if the component is working, it might have been damaged itself. You can be lucky and find a practically new component, because some of these are returned items that didn’t seem fit for the buyers, and the store can’t sell it as a new item. Refurbished laptop parts are cheaper, but they are cheaper. The fact is that you can save up from 20% up to 50% in some cases if you go for the refurbished one; you will get only 3 months warranty, but maybe you won’t need it. To be honest, we recommend the new laptop parts- full warranty and even more reliability.

toshiba-laptop-repair-parts-2

If you have an older edition of Toshiba laptops, you might as well look for an upgrade. If you need a laptop repair part, why not look for a better one? Most likely, it will cost you more, but not much more. You will save some money from when you realize that you need that upgrade and you want to replace the working part for a better one. Constantly making upgrades is a very good investment because you don’t pay very much at once and you keep in touch with the constant development in the IT industry. When searching for an upgrade for your Toshiba, test the compatibility of the item you desire and your laptop.

toshiba-laptop-repair-parts-3

So, when looking for Toshiba laptop repair parts, keep in mind that the best way to search is over the internet and keep an open mind when it comes to upgrades because they will pay off later.

Toshiba Laptop With A Dead Motherboard

May 19th, 2010

When your laptop starts making problems, you’ll most likely reach for the Windows installation CD. You see, the bad news is that it’s not always the solution. The worst moments are when you realize that your laptop has a hardware issue. The situation gets really bad when you realize that you are out of warranty, too. We would advise only experienced technicians to find and fix the problem themselves, but if you think you have what it takes to do it, who are we to say: Don’t!

The first step is to diagnose the problem. If the laptop still runs applications but is suddenly shuts down or the system locks down, there are some explications that don’t require much effort. You should try to clean the inside of the laptop, thus removing the dust, then restart the system. If this doesn’t work, it might be a hard drive problem.

Try replacing the HDD and restart the system; if the problem persists, it might be a motherboard issue. The motherboard is a very complex system of micro-controllers, transistors and chips. This is why you might encounter difficulties repairing it. A dead motherboard is one of the worst situations you can find yourself in.

toshiba-laptop-with-a-dead-motherboard

When you take the laptop in shop, many technicians will recommend replacing the motherboard. It’s usually the easiest solution for the technician, but not for you. This isn’t always the best solution, and it’s certainly not the cheapest one. The most popular way to check your motherboard is by sniffing it. Don’t laugh because the most common problems are caused by burned up transistors or this kind of small components.

Sometimes you can see the area that is causing problems, but sometimes you need to search by using your sense of smell. Another way (and maybe more accurate) is to identify the LED code; that is if the motherboard runs for few seconds. LED codes are used by most electronics to send a message to the trained eye identifying the problem themselves. You can find the code in your user’s manual or over the internet.

toshiba-laptop-with-a-dead-motherboard-2

You can get some much needed help just searching over the web for your type of Toshiba laptop and the common problems that relate to this model or series. Usually, the users post their problems on forums and blogs. This might come in handy because you know where to start in diagnosing your problem. For example, we searched for the Toshiba Satellite M35X laptop and we found a list of issues that are common for this model.

We found that overheating and power jack failure are situations very similar to m35x owners. Knowing that these are rather common problems, we searched again and we found that this model is known for problems with the MAXIM chip, giving you the impression of a dead motherboard. On a web page we found the instructions to replace it.

This idea applies to most models; if you have a common model, it’s impossible to not find the list of soft spots on the internet, and many times even the solution.

toshiba-laptop-with-a-dead-motherboard-3

Generally speaking, if you want to repair your dead toshiba motherboard yourself, you will need the manual featuring the technical details and the proper hardware tools; you will know which ones when you’ll get a closer look of the component you want to replace.

Toshiba Laptop Warranty

May 17th, 2010

When you get a new or a refurbished item, you usually get warranty for the product. This warranty guarantees you repairs in case you encounter problems while using the product, but for a limited period and in some terms featured in the contract you will sign when purchase.

Toshiba gives warranty for every product they release. For new items, usually the warranty applies for 1 year only. Even if there is a standard form of the contract, in stores you will come across many forms of the warranty contract with small, but sometimes important differences. We will study such variations of the warranty contracts and search for the most advantages you can get from them.

First we have to say that you are required to read the contract very well before signing it. This idea applies to any contract, not only the laptop warranty. So be careful because you can have problems later on. When you get a new Toshiba laptop you will get 1 year warranty. Search well, because there are stores who try to stand out from the competition and offer one 18 months of warranty or even two years. The bad thing is that they don’t offer this kind of warranty and you might not find exactly the product you were searching for. You might have to settle with a similar laptop, but with extended warranty period. Another thing is to search for products with warranty for each component.

toshiba-laptop-warranty

You might get a laptop with 2 years warranty for the RAM memory and CPU, and 1year warranty for the hard drive or such. It might be a good thing, but it doesn’t usually help, because you get this kind o warranty because components tend to ware of or brake differently. So you will get extended warranty for the CPU, a component that rarely brakes.

The standard features of a warranty contract include some conditions of usage. So, the warranty will not apply in case you break the laptop your self. The warranty states that you are forbidden to drop brutalize burn and so on the laptop. You will get along with the package the How to use manual. Usually, the warranty contract doesn’t apply for missusage of the product, and if you can’t find the warranty contract or you can’t understand it, read the manual. If you see that you have done something not recommended by the manual, don’t get your hopes up for the warranty to cover you.

toshiba-laptop-warranty-2

Another thing is to ask your friends about the place they got their laptops. Ask for advice from your friends because they should know how the stores covered them. There are stores that tend to replace the whole product than to repair it. This might be a very good thing for you in case your laptop brakes more than once. If your laptop has problems more than once, there are chances that the whole series is of poor quality and you should have the option of replacing your Toshiba laptop by the warranty contract.

When it comes to refurbished Toshiba laptops, stores offer 3 months warranty. The contract is very similar with the warranty of a new laptop, but the period differs and you have to be more careful. If you are lucky, you can find 6 months warranty and you should look for such offers.

Toshiba Satellite S5885 Laptop

May 17th, 2010

Toshiba has a very wide selection area when it comes to laptops and notebooks. Buying a laptop requires some skills that will you will find very useful to not regret the choice later. You first have to set your budget. When searching for a cheap laptop you have to know that the money you save now might be invested later in the laptop you buy now; this may be a good idea because you have some liberty for updates later. Toshiba is such a brand- low costs and the need for updates later on.

Toshiba satellite l305-s5885 is part of the laptops intended for students and business traveling. It’s a small notebook that gives you good features in a compact machine with good independency. The 15.4 inch Diagonal TruBrite high-gloss screen gives good detail when watching movies. The standard features show nothing impressing but rather good performance: the Intel Core 2 Duo T5750 / 2 GHz Processor, a 250 GB – Serial ATA-150 – 5400 rpm hard drive, Vendor Intel GMA X3100 Dynamic Video Memory Technology 4.0 and 3 GB of DDR2 SDRAM.

toshiba-satellite-s5885-laptop

Let’s take each component of the Toshiba satellite l305-s5885 and analyze it. The Intel Core 2 Duo T5750 / 2 GHz Processor gives you the speed you need for standard applications. It’s not great for gaming purposes, but there are many games this processor can support. The good news about this CPU is the fact that it can support 64 bit applications. The industry tends to use more and more 64 bit apps, starting with Windows 7. The latest operating system from Microsoft is designed on 64 bit and for such applications. Older CPUs can support this kind of apps as well, but they process the information slower and you can encounter issues while using 64 bit apps.

The best way for older CPUs is to remain on the 32 bit XP or Vista. As for the RAM memory, the 3GB installed are plenty for most people, but you can get 4GB on this motherboard. If you are not using too demanding apps, you can manage with this. The 250 GB hard drive should be enough for storing personal files and some big applications you use frequently. If you are not satisfied, you can always look for a hardware update, but you won’t get many options. Our advice is to look for an external hard drive that can store all your movies and other large files. The graphics processor has Max Allocated RAM Size of 358 MB, so you can’t really use it for gaming purposes. The optical devise is a DVD-RW with Disc Labeling Technology Labelflash Technology. The OS provided by the manufacturer is Windows Vista Home Premium, with many already installed like: Adobe Acrobat Reader, Toshiba ConfigFree, Sun Java 2 Runtime Environment, Skype, Toshiba Assist, Memeo AutoBackup, Toshiba Extended Tiles for Windows Mobility Center, Toshiba Value Added Package, Ulead DVD MovieFactory 5 for Toshiba,

toshiba-satellite-s5885-laptop

Face Recognition software, Microsoft Works 9.0, Microsoft Office 2007 Home and Student Edition (60 days trial), Norton 360 (Trial). All these make your life easier because you once you get home you can use the basic features of a computer and you get even Toshiba assistance provided by their own software development sector. Toshiba satellite l305-s5885 comes with built-in devices such as Stereo speakers, wireless LAN antenna and a webcam. The battery is Li- ion technology and it provides up to 4 hours of wireless usage.

All in all, Toshiba satellite l305-s5885 is a very good piece of machinery that deserves a chance. It has good finishing and provides good performances.
